I'm going to start naming and shaming idiotic PR. "The most remarkable scientist around"? Seriously? I could randomly ping Pubmed and probably find more interesting people. Hell, even Adam the Robot Scientist is more interesting than some dude who thinks that atoms are conscious. If that's the case, my atoms are rolling their metaphorical eyes at your atoms.
Also, you may have noticed that I don't, in fact, write Cocktail Party Physics. While I wish that I could take credit for the quality of Jennifer Ouellette's work, I am not actually Jennifer Ouellette. If I was, (a) I'm also a master of disguise and (b) Sean Carroll's in for a shock. Sigh. Crap PR is crap.Hi there,
